Message from the Principal
As Principal of the Australian International School, I wish to extend a warm welcome to all our students and their families. The School was built and opened in 2016 in response to the need for high quality education in the area. We are proud of the wonderful school we have developed and the great learning experiences and opportunities we offer our students. Our school is committed to providing a quality education for all students that develops the whole child intellectually, mentally, physically and socially.
At the School, we strive for excellence in academic achievement and promote the development of the whole child through strong co-curriculum of the National Curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Australian Curriculum. We educate our students to be enthusiastic, caring and confident learners who know and understand themselves as individuals and productive community members.
Our school is purposely built for learning and open to all. We have the passion and dedication that stimulates and supports learning and a school climate that fosters personal and social growth and contributes towards the development of independent, confident and resilient learners. We aim to prepare students to meet the challenges of an ever-changing 21st Century global society, where they will have the skills, values, understandings and courage to undertake a positive, productive and rewarding role in that world. Our students leave the School with confidence, looking forward to the bright future.
We strongly encourage active involvement in the physical education and sport programs. We have safe and spacious sport facilities for soccer, volleyball, basketball and swimming pools for our students. Our Language Other Than English program is Mandarin for students in primary and secondary levels.
I welcome your contact if you wish to learn more about our school or to arrange a visit. I look forward to working with our staff, students and parents to provide the best education for our students.
